I have been experimenting with this “black & white with a bit of colour” technique recently. These ones are interesting enough but I guess it is something that shouldn’t be overused.
I am posting this from the future!
I just realised I didn’t post any photos from this trip to Kenya in October 2013!
I might try to pad it out with some explanations even further in the future.
Back in Chamonix and it was soon back to business as usual at the bird feeder. You would think there is enough seed there for this Crested tit and Great tit to share without fighting!
A long lost cousin of our European Nuthatch. I love to see the Nuthatches, they are so beautiful and they are rare enough to make each sighting a bit of a treat.
The fattened masses at the top of Angel’s landing. While the tourists are distracted by the views, these guys are helping themselves to their trail mix! Except the last guy – he is too busy grooming his hairy legs!
These big horn sheep have been reintroduced to Zion national park. I am assured they really are sheep and that the wardens were not duped by a reintroduction salesman with an excess of goats!
This guy was waiting for us when we got to King’s Canyon.
While we are on the subject … I promise it will be back to the mountains tomorrow!
